My name is Courtney Walston and I am an aspiring fine art photographer and hopeful photojournalist/reporter.

 

I am from Cheyenne, Wyoming, which is where I am currently living and I am a Journalism/Media Communication student at Colorado State University. In 2019, I graduated from Laramie County Community College in Wyoming with my Mass Media Associates degree and a year prior to that, in 2018, I graduated from the same institution with my Interdisciplinary Liberal Arts degree.

As you may have picked up on through my telling of Beth's story, I was also best friends with Rayna Amsberry. I share many of the same sentiments that she shared throughout her story. We both grieved together and we both healed together. I hope that my telling of her story and Rayna's moved you. I appreciate you taking the time to watch, read and listen.
